DAB+ the "new" radio
Dorothee Bar, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transport and digital infrastructure (BMVI), sends a clear signal about the future of radio in Germany. She explains the benefits of DAB+ and the importance of collaboration between all stakeholders, including the radio industry and the German state media authorities. She also highlights the BMVI's work at an EU level to have digital radio mandated in all radio receivers, within the context of the EU Universal Service Directive.
